The Fairfax on Embassy Row

We checked into our hotel. It is really nice. We booked tickets for this evenings night tour. We are waiting for our tour bus to come. We visited the Smithsonian museum of Natural History and the Smithsonian museum of American History. Both were very nice and had so much to see and look at. I took a couple pictures of our hotel with my phone.  Does anyone recognize some of these things from the Night at the Museum movie??

  1. You look like you are having fun. Mom and Dad look scared in the car pictures. Who was driving? Thanks for keeping us up to date on where you guys are. I love reading the blog.

  2. Keep the blogs coming,it is fun to follow along. We have the bad heat here also so be sure everyone takes precautions and stays hydrated. We had rain Sat night and Sun night and that did not break the heat pattern but they say by the weekend things should finally get cooler.

  3. Is that where they filmed the "night at the museum" movies?
Were there scary people on the metro...did dad make friends with them too?

  4. Yes, Patti, that is where they filmed the Night at the Museum movie at the Natural History Museum. Remember Dum-Dum, gimme Gum-Gum? No scary people on the metro, we only rode it during the daytime hours, so normal people getting around and going to work.
